Copypasting (the relevant part) of my e-hentai uploader comment regarding this oneshot.
...And so we were looking for raws, and found this anthology. And editor got super crazy about this oneshot, and he was like, "we have to pick this up!" So we did, but it turned out a bit complicated.
The guy says on the first page, that Kei-chan wants to be a girl. So, if we're talking about a transgender character, it brings up all sorts of concerns, like "what pronoun to use?" etc. (luckily, the guy calls Kei as "Kei-chan" pretty much all the time, so that's a big help). We still had to use some pronouns here and there due to english. Initially I thought to go with "she" but after discussing with editor, we went with "he" because "those are only in the guy's thoughts anyway". or something. I'm concerned about this. Because I don't want to offend anyone. I hope we did not offend anyone, and if you feel offended by something here, then we're very sorry.
Another interesting thing is, some other time, I talked with someone about shotas, traps*, etc. in yaoi. And they were like "but I like it when a trap is like "don't touch my penis, that's forbidden territory"" or something like that. And as far as I'm concerned, I'm the opposite I guess XD lol when there is an adorable trap, with an adorable penis, how could you just ignore it?
But so, when I looked at this, I thought about that. This might applies to that "penis is off limit" faction more.
Though in this case, the guy ignoring the penis might be due to Kei-chan being transgender? Though then in the end, he still gave Kei-chan a hand. (I like that, but I wonder if the "penis is off limit" faction might not?) Confusing...
(*by "trap" I mean boys who crossdress, but are not transgender. so in this regards, Kei-chan isn't a "trap")
Waaah... so many difficult things... I hope we didn't offended anyone. If we did, then we're sorry. We didn't intended to offend anyone.
Putting everything aside, it's a sweet romance, with sweet love-making, and if you love romance regardless if it's hetero, yaoi, yuri, or anything, it's really not much of a concern, what this is. It's a beautiful, lewd romance. That's what it is. Isn't it?
So, yeah, I think I written a huge uploader's comment again... I'm just feeling extra concerned about this, because it's complicated. I just hope no one will feel offended.
