You’re not good at foreshadowing, are you? It’s usually details like this that can hint at what will come later on in many stories.

There’s 60 chapters out though and as far as I could tell it’s just more lighthearted stuff.

You’re not good at figuring a manga's genre, are you ? I don't need to skim the untranslated raws to predict this is purely harmless, super sweet, leave-your-brain-at-the-door, self insert bait that would never in a million years dare to touch a subject like the loss of a child. Seriously, not only the male MC doesn't have eyes, or even merely a name, over the ten pages of chapter one, he doesn't have a single audible readable line. How you expect him to explain his sad backstory when the author keeps him mute ? And how do you expect such a blatant self-insert character to have something as unrelatable (to the target readership) as an ex wife ?
