She is a college student, and pretty sure in early chapters there's something about her being recently reached drinking age (20 in Japan), while the man is 27-28 I think in early chapter. If she is about to enter middle school here, then she should be around 12 years old as 6th grader, 11 at least. If the male is in high school, assuming 3rd year, he gotta be around 18. So the age difference kinda fits.

Uhh, wait... she worked in the izakaya from 1st chapter, pretty sure you have to be adult, 20 y.o. to work in an establishment that serves alcohol in Japan. So I probably misremembered the part where she recently reached drinking age. She is probably around 21 then.

Nvm me, the law apparently not about working in places that serves alcohol, but about the late night hour working in places like izakaya, which also doesn't follow legal adult age (20), you need to be minimum 18 y.o. to be able to work at late night hours.
