This has an ~8.5 at the moment but it really should be more like a 7 in my eyes. It has all the makings and style of some of the other types of thriller/abuse focused emotional mangas like One Room of Happiness, but it relies on absolutely dumb pretenses like putting children with their abusers, ignoring legal emancipation existing, and acting like taking in a run away and keeping them from abusers/the streets is somehow an evil thing. For a police officer he apparently has no brains to look up any laws or think about what he wants to do to legally get through the situation.
Alas, still worth a read just because I really enjoy these short one of stories, but this is just ok.
