@sedition Agree. So dumb. Or maybe he just thought that maybe, since he is also a human, a gun would work against him.
But beside that, what make me depressed (even though it is a little cool as it insinuate he killed a bunch of other trashes) is that he says "It happens everytime". It could mean that he is unlucky and keep encountering trashes but it's really more probable that the series insinuate that the world shitty and 99% of the hunters are selfish/greedy bastard.
@Woodfolk I am quite curious how Korea/China/Japan began to have so distinct mainstream ideas. The posibility i can think of is that the first writers became famous for their works and so induced others to write in the same way.
Personnal rant (nothing related to the manhua, skip if not interested in one of my wish):
In china it exist the "entertainment" genre = often MC transmigrating and copying the works from earth in the isekai modern earth. The problem is that china is brainwashed to hate japanese (because of war). Meaning that one of my wish of seeing a MC transmigrating into Japan and re creating famous animes like Little busters / Gurren Lagann / SAO etc... is low probability.
Don't say to hope on a JP author to do that because 1)He/she will writes it like a JP mainstream rom-com harem series 2) "Transmigration and copying the works of earth" is kinda a mainstream idea of china authors hence a JP surely won't use it 3)Writing this kind of genre takes a lot of words, freaking, worth 1000 chapters, JP authors won't ever do that 4) JP authors kinda hope to have animes done of their series. "Chinese entertainment style" are bad anime materials. You can guess the rest. Unless of course the author write it like a JP mainstream rom-com.

Also kinda spoiler (and not entirely sure) but the mainstream ending of korean "dungeons in modern world" series is to have the dungeons closed forever / saving the earth of the dungeons.
