not that I'm complaining but this turned into a really nice silver spoon episode. It reminds me of when Hachisen from Silver Spoon was agonizing over eating Pork Bowl, the pig that he was raising as part of the practicum for raising pigs for slaughter. You raise him really big and healthy only to turn him into meat. But in a way their life was convenient and easier than if the piggie was in the wild. Same goes for Moofie. Moofie, if he was a giant cow in the wild, would have encountered much more hardships and had to fight to survive. Yes his life is cut short and it is to provide food so we can live, but on the other hand Moofie's life is much easier than the alternative. I can't say which kind of life is better for a cow but I don't think its necessarily cruel, but it seems that way to people who never watched or got involved in the meat production process.
