Not just you QvQ I figure it's all hitting so well cause it's good at highlighting the inconspicuous starts of things, making the heartbreaking bits easier to understand/resonate with. Like even if you've never really considering manual poofing, if someone explains getting to that point as they distanced from those they cared about when going through a rough time. Going about things all without a clue that anyone cared or at least no clue that they cared as much as they did. Disconnects like that are something silly in hindsight but I think happens to everyone at some point especially as a younger person, before your first set of broader perspective is gained. Then take into account how young our characters are and... q-qI'm gonna confess. I've been speedreading this, it's 5am right now.
Some tears are still leaking out. Am I a little bitch or is this story just that good at giving out emotions to the reader? Or maybe I'm just tired and more susceptible to sad stories...
Nah, this stuff is really heartbreaking.
And now that we're reminded that Shizuku thought of killing herself, this too is just not helping. Seriously.
