@ac45king He's fundamentally right, though. He literally IS an other-worlder, and even though he doesn't fit the "normal" profile for other-worlders, he is still suspicious enough to warrant investigation. A level five other-worlder is not impossible at this point, literally exactly as the inquisitor said.

Then there's the fact that the mere existence of other-worlders creates chaos and makes Rathnians tremble in fear because of how destructive they've been known to be. So what if the MC is "generally" good? If it's known that he's an other-worlder/that an other-worlder escaped, that makes problems in and of itself. Add in the fact that the MC really does have significant potential to go on a rampage that would wipe out hundreds if not hundreds of thousands of people.

@comeonnow0 MC isn't "generally good" he's pathetically good, he doesn't do a single evil thing and lets everyone walk all over him, he has more power than anyone els in this world yet never makes any decisions himself and just follows whatever people tell him to do.

@Doomer to be honest, we don't know if he's the most powerful in the world. This Inquisitor guy right here is an example of someone whose power is at least comparable and at best close to his. Plus, there's the heroes and the gods and whatever else could be in this world, so he can't just go against everyone like that.

@Doomer I know you're disappointed that you can't read a story about strong people doing whatever they want and killing whoever gets in their way. I'm sorry that this isn't the power-trip story that you want. I'm sorry that this is at least somewhat realistic in that the strong people don't do whatever they want just because they are strong. I'm sorry that real life isn't like that considering people generally do stick to some kind of morality that doesn't immediately kill the weak.
