Childhood friends win plenty. Especially in shoujo manga, really.

The problem is they're also an easy go-to for an emotional rival character. When the description is like this—"childhood friend, and [someone else with an interesting feature]"—there's not really much point in even taking bets.

This series is getting officially translated in English by Kodansha (available in paperback format) titled “love in focus”, first volume will be released on March 19, and 2nd vol in may, 3rd vol in July

Yeah, this one ends as you would expect, but kudos to the story acknowledging it's not so easy to get over feelings that you have for someone. A bunch of shoujo has the 2nd lead get rejected and move on like it's nothing. At least, here you can tell the guy is hurt.

I luv this kind of story.... I mean light romance and beautiful sceneries and all ♥️ I'll reread in the future maybe.. I want to finish all of this mangaka's works first .. but still aaaaa I luv the second male lead TT^TT .. the thing is.. both of them are such good guys so it hurts more ksksksks
