Yeah, honestly, for how smart and decisive these kids seem to be, they can also be pretty darn dumb/ignorant as well. Maybe all the years of trauma during their childhood played a factor in that, which is why they can't really trust anyone, but still. Also, I'm not sure why they didn't ask these questions regarding the empress to Ibelina. They saved/rehired her solely for the purpose that she wouldn't lie/sugarcoat the truth to them, and obviously they seem to trust her the most out of everyone else they've met so far. Makes more sense to ask her these things, like they've been doing so far, rather than some kids they've just met who, mentally speaking, is half their age. It feels like they're kids only when they need to be, not reincarnators, which they are.

This is really sad. For the people saying they don’t act their real age, please consider all the circumstances. They are REALLY messed up mentally speaking. I don’t remember right now but I think they were orphans in their first life? Then they were abused by their mother and then they were brought by their father whom they never saw before. They of course are scare to have expectations and at some point they unconsciously create expectations. But then, they face that the expectations they did not even know they had were crushed. I think it makes sense that they would believe the little boy. They always have been trying to deny that the father and brothers really care for them, so of course if someone came and tells them THAT exactly, what you would expect?. Age doesn’t matter at this point. This is not them being childish, this is them being mentally unstable and anxious

Also, they have two “special powers” (telepathy and invisibility) whereas I think their brothers only have one special ability each, right? So again. They’re better.

Idk why they're listening to that duke's son in the first place tho. Like if they don't even trust their own family then why are they trusting that this random kid actually has good intentions in revealing that kind of info. I usually don't rag on reincarnated children amd excuse their childlikw behavior...but these two need to wisen up a little and see that everyone is full of plots. Not just their royal side of the family. They already know that everywhere is a death trap since they are considered inferior but still let their guard down around a non-royal noble like this kid and his dad.
