Oof the backhanded way that the head maid talks down to them is so annoying lol disguising her disdain with fake respect my babies deserve better ughh also shitty ass dad lmao I wonder how their older brothers will be like?
Withholding judgement on the Head Maid-san for now.
While her demeanor so far may leave much to be desired...... given what we know so far about Emperor-chan and how HE acts, her icy and blunt words are probably the best way to stress to the twins how dangerous their new life actually is.
But we barely got a chapter of her so far to tell us that she's anything more then a generic shitty head-maid.... still I'd like to entertain the possibility that maybe she was secretly concerned.
I'm really happy with the direction this one is going in since we later on find out that their father and older brothers are
actually quite the loving, protective, adorable, and dorky family these twins desperately need. I'm still on the fence about the father though. I mean, even if he wasn't aware of the abuse they suffered at the hands of their mother, that's honestly no excuse to simply ignore them for 5 years. He has A LOT of making up to do for them before I'll even consider him a good father. In the meantime though, I absolutely love their 3rd older brother, he's just too cute! XD
What the fucking hell. The abusive mother died, and that’s the moment you decide to be “merciful” and take them in to finally be your children? Go fuck yourself.
Wow all the comments about the father. I've read a few of this genre and most of the time there's a reason why the father has been cold and distant. Let's see if the readers opinion of him will change in the future. The author must have a good reason and properly executed redemption story for the father.
I'm under the assumption that while they do have a magical healing factor, it just accelerates their natural healing process rather than removing/reversing the wound entirely. So scarring would be possible in that scenario.
