What happened to this? It feels like it just ended out of nowhere while storylines were still being set up. Such a shame as was really enjoying it

Feels weird to say a 104 chapter manga felt short, but I really do think it could have used some more time to wrap up. The ending came a bit out of nowhere, even for the main characters and Ataru, who got some resolution. For Miho, moreso Nemori, and especially Kita, it felt like there were threads left hanging, and a lot of stuff left unresolved. Not that their problems all needed to be solved in the end, just that the setups needed some kind of payoff, and never got it.
In general, I did love it. The ending specifically just felt more like an axing than a conclusion.

I always like it, when manga authors show readers, that a romantically involved couple has a sex life.

I'm always bit annoyed, if the story shows healthy couple in their story. Yet, they seem to have zero sex drive or the author actively works to stop the pair from going past hand holding and kisses.

Honestly almost makes me want to create a twitter account just to throw poorly translated praise interspersed with questions of why it had to end when it did at the author.
Almost.

Well, add that to the list of reasons I'm learning Japanese IG. I've been thinking all about Kita since I left that original comment. My girl got totally shafted. I'm really sad, too, since it's so rare to see actual trans girls in yuri manga despite trans girls making up a significant chunk of the yuri readerbase. At the same time, I'm really interested to see what else this author makes, since clearly, they're willing and able to write trans girls well.
All in all, I wish I could talk to the author about this stuff...

Man, that was incredible! While Ikeda-sensei's previous work, Sasameki Koto, disappointed me, I was pleasantly surprised with this series. Such a good balance of an adult relationships, lives, and drama that really kept me bingeing until the end!

Characters really make this series as amazing as it is. The main couple, Wanko and Sakuma, are so adorable and wonderful to follow as they enjoy their lives and find where they want to go as time goes on. They aren't overly complex, but they aren't boring either. Wanko had some struggles in the past, both romantically and professionally, but she continues to push herself forward to achieve her goals. Sakuma continues to be somewhat successful in her work while pushing herself to reach her larger dreams. The side characters are quite interesting and fun too, but they are also where most of the drama is... and it's a good thing! It keeps the main couple comfy and soft without letting the series become monotonous. Meeting other VAs, directors, and screenwriters through the MCs really gives a variety of characters to enjoy.

The story is fairly dry when it comes to the main characters, but the other characters make sure to prevent any boredom! Wanko struggles as a VA but finds comfort in her lovey-dovey home life with Sakumo, and that is where most of the main plot comes from. It has its ups and downs, but it is a nice progression. What people might find more interesting to discuss are the side characters. There is drama, unrequited love, romance, and more to be found. What is most notable here is the writing is well done! There are plots that are solved subtly, to the point some readers might even miss the conclusions! Not every side character has a conclusion to their story, but it makes the story feel more realistic. Remember, this is Wanko and Sakumo's story, not theirs. Just like reality, not everyone's story can be seen; people's lives continue out of view, or in this case panels.

10/10 I consider this a MUST READ when it comes to slice of life. While it is dry at times, there is enough story and character variety to keep things fresh and fun without muddling everything. With 104 chapters, it feels like the story was not enough yet still satisfying. The conclusion feels quick to some, but it feels just right to me... even if I would've loved another 100 chapters of this series.
