I like that they have like a whole bunch of ways of detecting the poison. So, the two-bit villains' poisoning plan had about as much chance as it should have (to wit: none).

Since they are planning to poison someone like the palm emperor, even if just injure instead of kill since all old monsters have some tricks, I was expecting more then just hand poison to chef. They could poison the supplies & no one would know where it's from. Being evil sect, they could replace the chef with someone with face mask. It wouldn't work with the tiger, but at least it looks like they try.
Why the hell is the poison that easy to detect anyway? What the hell is the point if, forget the tiger, anyone who who smell it goes 'that some nasty stuff I shouldn't put in my body "?
