@Chizan this chapter he's still perving on her with the comment of how she's small. if he was just talking about her height he wouldn't have needed to add "in many ways." having read the raws it does continue to head that way, though it is rare for manga to have genuinely decent ml anyway so this is more of a rant about the ml than anything.

if he was acting out of her best interests and not just his feelings for her he wouldn't have been so quick to say that she should leave school (without regard for her desires) and that he'll him take care of her for the rest of her life even though her 13 and 18 year old self are different so him still trying to lock her down with him and getting jealous then separating her from the teacher abduction style is gross to me. I have a frustration with the trend of pushy older guy being touchy with younger/smaller body type expressionless girl thing that I've been seeing so im clearly in the wrong place anyway.

I think it was implied in the introduction pages that he tried to save her more than once. While I liked that she won't gave up her training so easily, she seems to be willfully ignorant of what her explosion did to the other students.

I am wondering if studying here was free or not. As an orphan with magic power, I would guess that she was able to study there free of charge? I hope that the school would be more proactive and not just seemingly letting things slide. Like, perhaps, give her special class to make her stop making explosion? Away from prying eyes and accusations of other people?

He says "ima made no mirai ni wa nakatta houhou da" which can be translated to "in the future (which existed) up until now there was no method like this" but can be also interpreted as "in the futures up until now...". And I'm leaning towards futures, like the translator did in this ambiguous situation, because it looks like he's talking about the possibilities of different futures.

As I said, not 100% percent clear. It's part of the beauty of Japanese language that you need to look at the whole picture and try to understand hints. I'm going to believe in our translator 😍 Sorry if it looked like I was doubting you, I was just so curious. You did a great job, thank you <3
