Isn't the MC some hotshot mage from a time where mages were more advanced. Why doesn't he just dispel her slave hex. It's the least he could do for a descendant of his apprentice.
@yellanha shes a descendant of the royal family, not to merlin herself. she is just related to her, maybe the slave is just a cousin/relative or something
Feed her some meat before you feed her "the meat". Hahaha
@jazz9 I second that sentiment. But if you can't free her, because of some prejudice of other people towards the subservient demon race thingy, then at least make her be her own person with just the "slave mark" as a symbol of the MCs protection.

As expected from this kinda story... he doesn't :S
It's so he can be oh so kind, and unlike the others, in how he treats his slaves kindly... Well, that's how these stories usually go, hopefully he dispels it. Goddamn this trope
@hokujin Honestly, if the author was inclined to make slaves anything but a generic tool for the MC, they probably just wouldn't have had slaves in the story at all.
And so, the fact he should be able to do that is overlooked, unfortunately.
We all know she's gonna be discriminated for being an slave and entering a restaurant, someone's gonna say something like "stinks here", bla bla bla
and MC is going to get mad
