Where she would try to kill him early on like she said. Where neither knows the other is in the game possessing a character.

Alright alright a solid first chapter, nothing amazing nor bad. Seems to introduce MC and build him up in a solid way that we the audience can understand what he's like. Ibwould say same with ex, buuuuut people seem to be misunderstanding her

He seems to be doing more work than his title "Character Model Designer" should entail. I guess he could be checking that his model works in every circumstance but that would still normally be QA to report on for him to later fix.
Then there were the other changes he was making which he probably shouldn't even have access to.
Weird approach to portraying his role in this games development.

EDIT: Well, in the very next chapter it shows his employee card again and it says he's QA, so now it makes more sense.

Ah yes, I read the novel for this.

I hope I don't offend anyone for saying this, but I hope this gets axed 2/3 or 3/4 of the way through. I wasn't a fan of the final couple arcs or how the novel ended. The story got stretched far too long and it hurt the genuinely nicely developed story and characters.

The ex aside, isnt it kinda messed up that woojin was used as a reference for the character supposedly for his personality? Thats pretty dickish on the writer's side too, since he didnt seem aware anything beyond his appearance would be sampled

the tropes are nothing new but the writing and art both seem pretty good so it's got my attention.

also the fact that the ex-gf says the writer based the villian off of mc and then the writer shows up as a giant vortex-god-thing makes me think that maybe the ex is more plot relevant than first meets the eyes.
