[Currently on Chapter 2/2]
This a really weird story so far, compared to many other isekai villainess manga/stories out there.

Instead of dying and being reincarnated and what not in a medieval era, the MC is in what seems to be a weird mix of both medieval and modern setting?

They have the family setting of what seems to be a typical Villainess story, dresses, maids and servant that wait on their needs. But then suddenly, completely modern clothing and buildings. Its very jarring to look at frankly, like things being mashed together supposedly at random to be different but not necessarily in a good way.

Chapter 4, this is insufferable. She's a wet noodle letting people walk over her and even lying to cover for attempted murder and major theft.

Of course I should expect that it will get better, but it's still annoying how far she'd go to roll over and take it as for now.
... still reading tho.

HOLY WHOA, THE HEREDITARY INCEST GENES, I was not prepared. :notlikethis:

Alright, finished I guess... Only 8 chapters? Maybe a few more untranslated...

It's annoying that being a Reincarnator has 0 relevance to the plot and minimal effect. May as well not be a thing and could even more appropriately just have been a supernatural thing where the incest madness curse got cured or broken.

As it turns out, while there are a few more and it's translated to the end now, all they do is is call back in the "hereditary genes" in the weirdest milquetoastedly-masquerading-as-cute-and-wholesome fashion, and then there's a couple other chapters of (in my sole opinion) mostly nothingburger.

I don't even know what to think. I can't believe it managed to drop that bomb and fade out so uneventfully and inconsequentially in such a short span.

This feels… rushed like other axed mangas. The premise was good, the execution was somewhat okay, and the story was a mess. The setting changes from multiple angles you can’t tell if this thing is fantasy setting or modern setting. The MC is mediocre af and the characters around her are one dimensional that I can’t even bother to remember their names. It’s both good and bad that this story ended already, as the story itself is becoming a clutter of bad writing, despite the very good premise of “Man turns to a Villainess and tries to fix her ways and wrongdoings from square one.”

If you want a good story, don’t bother reading this. If you want to see a good premise turned to hot garbage, go on and read this

I dislike saying negative things about creators, but in this case... The manga doesn't even come close to how good the WN is.

The MC character is probably the most interesting character that I've read.
Whether you like that character or not (or find them interesting) will be up to personal taste, but she sure isn't simple. (Though it takes a while for that to become apparent -- she's easy to underestimate early on.) Best analogy that I can give is having a few drinks with someone seemingly pretty normal, and as they start telling you stories from their life, you gradually realize how freaking complicated their life is.

As I write this, the WN translation is up to ch 103. You can find it at re:library:
