it's very interesting. this is still a type of manipulation to some extent, but it's okay because it's something she gave her consent for. she's entrusting someone else to cover all her grey areas which also includes family and friends, but it's all right because she is a possessor!
it's also very cute that the protagonist, despite being a pushover, is lively because she likes novels and dresses. having points of interests doesn't have to be cheats, they can just be tools to drive the story. even more interesting would be an example where they fail (ex. Ascendance of a Bookworm)

I'm continuing for Killian but I seriously hope she actually becomes a villainess. And how can she write about a villainess but cannot act like one, even if it's faking it. Is is because she's a doormat? This is also speculation but I feel like the og villainess might be in the og mc's body by the way she was acting.
I hate when authors make characters just to make them play cupid, cuz to me they aren't true villains. If I read the og story I would be pissed

I agree. The clothing game is lower for this webtoon, which brings down the whole storyline in my eyes. To begin with, the designs not only don't have a clear era, but they lack a cohesive aesthete. The colors choices are also too bright and their undertones don't match well, so it looks a little vulgar as well. I still like it better than the webtoon with Idris, since the art for that one is dull.
In comparison, the artist's strong point seems to be that they can draw good looking characters that give off strong impressions. You can understand the character by looking at them because their faces have a sense of personality.

It's hilarious to treat the MC as dress fanatic while her dresses are looking like mess, right? 😂 I suppose the writer has some knowledge about dresses, but unfortunately it's not the same case with the artist. However, I don't like the way the writer exaggerates how torturous corsets are. It could be suffocating, but it literally has similar function to bra.
The pattern on her red dress in chapter 7 is the worst I have ever seen, it has scissors surrounding a hexagram 🤦 The artist should've just stick to common patterns like damask, fleur-de-lis, or brocade.
