While I have no answers as to why she's so cold - she's still bitter about how useless they were from the last chapter where they let her get nabbed by some "rich rural noble kid"

Wow, ok... Why do they look so alike?! I thought Aria and Mielle looked kinda similar, but when Mielle wore the dress Aria wore in the previous chapter, I couldn't tell them apart at all😳 This is getting interesting tho. I can't wait to see how she resolves this issue with the crown prince's past she probably caused

This isn’t a baby hitler dilemma at all. This is the equivalent of shooting hitler the moment he gets up to speak at the beer hall putsch. Mielle confessed, unprompted and without duress, that she had been plotting for aria to die, alone and in pain, from the very first moment they met. We are told in the very first chapter that aria began tormenting mielle on the suggestion of her maids, who were controlled by mielle, by her own admission. Aria was a brat definitely, but mielle is the first to escalate to lethal conspiracy.
