Just making my way down the recommendation list and stumbled across this one. I past on others but I'm glad I read this one, it was a good read. Horror, suspense, romance, there was a lot to unpack in this one. Only problem is, just like with other good stories, I wish there was more. Still, its also nice to read something that has a nice ending.

Wait a minute. Voynich hotel is set in the same universe with melancholia, and melancholia is set in the same universe with both voynich hotel and nickelodeon.
Would this mean voynich hotel is shared universe with nickeloden as well?

It is trash. It is goddamn trash, but the second to the last chapter has a great page that fills you with sadness. In that small moment you can see some talent that spilled out of the mangakas soul into shit. That is both beautiful and sad.

This series is absolutely incredible, a definite masterpiece. It's sweet, fucked up, wholesome, disturbing, romantic, and everything else under the sun.
One of the oddest and most wonderful stories I've ever experienced- and it'll stick with me for the rest of my days! If you like "weird", this is for you ^_^

in the end it was kinda tragedy ?
there were many characters i felt bad for let's start with the bad guy : the dark skinned drug dealer was kinda nice but boom she was gone like that with no further character development
the homo sure he killed the drug dealer and i should hate him but i can't help but feel bad for him like he raised the twins and helped them to do proper killing and once he fond his love boom he was killed by her to make matter worse she wished for boob rather than feeling bad for him
the big twin sis sure i kinda hate her for almost eating a cat and only doing evil deed in the series but she left her sister alone oveall she is the least characters i feel bad for since she did many meaningless killing outside her job
about the serial killer i feel like her character haven't been explored so well to make me feel bad for her since she killed people for shit and giggles
the good guy:
i really felt so bad for the zombie big sis she is forever in painful state her body is all over the place and she always forget her beloved ones
also the oldest member from the kids gang who died in bomb but was easily forgotten by the same kid she saved
__________
the male lead did have some questionable moral thou since he fucked the maid only knowing that she is like 9 or 10 years old
and am pretty sure he did have some kind of homo relationship with his big bro maybe that's why he is attracted to kid ?since people who experienced pedophillia end up pedo as well
___
overall all there were many plot point not explored well like why did the manager quit wrestling and build hotel ? why did the serial killer take this path and sign contract with the devil? why did the male lead steal from the yakuza with his bro? will they ever find the middle sis head ? will the older sis ever recover ?

he didn't know until she killed those yakuza
all he know when he screwed with her is that she is a weird poor kid serving in the hotel
sure she may be 400+ old but he didn't know , meaning he is fine with fucking "kids"

@me474 now that is basically saying the dude is a fucking idiot. He was there for like a month at least, you really think he wouldn't figure out she isn't really a kid? Yes he did think she may have been a kid in chapter one when he first met her but after a while it would be obvious she isn't one.

if he was smart to being with he should prepare more for the yakuza assassins and hide in a safer place
and she truly acted like a kid when he was watching loving cartoons and games and easily getting excited by every small thing
if anything she acted like she is younger than the kids gang

So I just bought the Seven Seas release and noticed that Helena refers to her teacher as mother in the panel she says 'I will' in ch. 65. Is this a mistake on someone's part and is that correct or an odd addition from Seven Seas?

Dorohedoro lite. Pretty cool and you can tell that the author smonked a lot, but the ending felt rushed. 8/10

Great piece of work. As expected from Sayman's works, the characters are superb (9/10).
A little drier and less whimsical than most of Sayman's works, but I loved the characters till the very end.
There was promises made and fulfilled.
Not too much world-building but is unnecessary in the end. It reminds of Binnouji.

I would recommend as a chill binge read.
The cover and beginning chapters insinuate something more sinister. I was pleasantly surprised.
