Just started reading (3 chapters in) but I'm kind of annoyed by the female mc or more accurately, the author.
In chapter one I felt bad seeing the Fmc tank the prince's insults and cheating all the while holding in her emotions.
But then jump cut to the other place and she's just throwing out open mouth smiles like no tomorrow.
And before you hit me with the "dude she said she could let loose at the barren land" I already know that.
My main problem is the open mouth smile. Like bro we see that all it does is give sunlight! She even laughed and it showed a beautiful sunny light from the sky. Are you telling me should couldn't do ANY of that back with the original prince!?!?!
Her smiling back at the old place would only cause sunlight which wouldn't be that big a deal since it was already sunny over there. If anything her smiling in the barren lands puts her at greater risk of revealing her powers. Also she's known the original prince for a longer time and truly loved him but didn't reveal her powers. HOWEVER she mets the new eggplant wielder and suddenly she's smitten enough to want to reveal it all!?!?!?!?!?!!?
In all honesty the original prince was a scumbag at heart and still would've cheated, however you can't just show me
smile = sunlight
and not question her monotone face back with the original prince. Like buddy on top of being unable to show
emotions; it seems like you can't use your brain either lmao.
