I kind of feel bad for the Noble daughter - Yeah she's obviously jealous of MC and has been taking her credit, but was that what SHE wanted to do? I get the feeling her feeling of inadequacy, and the undeserved credit, was forced upon her by her bigoted elitist mother. This, tied with the fact that she wants to be/believes she is a good person, likely means that that her failures and MC presence eat away at her.

I'm sure this pity will disappear by the time the daughter does something truly scummy, but it's a reminder that bad parents make bad people.

I don’t understand why Christin is always destined to lose, other than plot. She’s been consistently getting second place for four years. Unless there’s something like a twenty point gap between first and second, it shouldn’t be inconceivable for her to take first place some of the time.
