No, it's not clear that she likes him. It's clear that she's an expert manipulator though. But deep inside she's as insecure as him, if not more: "I love doing it with someone who hasn't had their first time yet. Because people never forget their first- who was it or when it was, or where it happened" Amatella said in ch 20. It's clear that she's got some serious issues as well.

This doesn't even make sense. Even if you hyper-focus on that one thing said in chapter 20 and decide that means she's insecure, her actions don't suddenly turn manipulative. Through the manga she has been consistently willing to give space, pull back, and leave room for him to make decisions. She will tease him, but never demean him; he does all the demeaning and self-criticism. She makes her desires clear, but always offers choices. She will push when she can tell he's conflicted, but never tries to make him do something he doesn't want to do.

We know this because we literally hear his thoughts. Every time she's pushed him, it's been because its a thing he wanted to do. Every time he's been actually unsure and feels like things may be going too fast for him, she's pulled back. Whether it was a love hotel on a first date, a kiss, having sex... she's always pulled away when he's anxious. We know this because we hear his thoughts.

Like hell man, let's take your read that she's actually really insecure. For whatever reason, she is. How does that not make her fuckin' adorable then? If all her touching and boldness and gentle teasing is born from a place of insecurity and fear that he doesn't find her interesting; a place where she's scared of being abandoned or thinks she's not good enough, how... how does this make her a bad, manipulative person? We'd be seeing someone gathering their courage and taking massive risks over and over again; making her ability to tell how uncomfortable the dude is totally understandable, cause she knows how bold she's being.

Like the core of this manga has always been that she seems too good to be true. She's hot, she's interesting, she's fun, she likes the same stuff as him, she seems to do everything right and is determined to get this nerd out of his shell and is willing to wait as long as it takes. What makes her suspicious isn't her actions, what makes her suspicious is that her actions are too perfect. That's why the dude's always going "do I even have a right to like her" or "there's no way she's interested in me" or "we live in different worlds," because she seems way too good for him. The manipulative turn here would be if she did all this cause she's an insane virgin hunter who's willing to take months and several outright rejections in stride to get her prey.

She's not really a manipulator. She just likes the guy. We've seen that this guy is REALLY insecure and most of his conflicts are because he doesn't stand up for himself. Rereading all of his interactions with Azusa without including his internal monologs just show an average date. They all have their issues but calling her a manipulator is abit much.

You know maybe she loves mc, cause there is a common interest?
The story they read may be that common interest, after all in a relationship, interests and conversation are more important than beauty.
The mangaka may show her as 'yandere', but as long as she doesn't hold any knife or show anything yandere-ish, it's cool for me

Looks wise I like the smoll girl. Personality wise I dislike both of them, as the big booba girl is kinda "to strong" for me, thou with my shyness maybe thats what I need?
