It has taken us 2 months because we were having problems due to the lack of a jap-eng translator which we managed to solve, we don't want to just skip chapters, we would like to work on everything so probably in these days we will be able to catch up quickly. In other words, there won't be such a long wait for the chapters. This weekend I was going to upload 9 and 9.5 in case I can finish them by Saturday.

Now that it starts back up, the title's changed, and progress resumes, you sweep in, put out whatever mediocre chapter you can put together, and complain that the people that had been working it... kept working it?

You seem to be misunderstanding, the manga had gone without a chapter for two months from the previous group despite the fact that they were working on several other manga more much recently. Since that seemingly indicated that their group lost interest and we wanted to see the manga continued, we (Oriko-scans) continued from where they'd left off, publishing chapter 7,8,9, and 9.5. We also changed the title fyi. As soon as we did this, the other group decided they were interested again and started uploading the same chapters that we just did.

Not trying to be possessive as much as I'm just not a fan of duplicate uploads of similar quality chapters on Mangadex. Despite your "mediocre" claims, I believe our uploads are pretty much comparable in quality, so there's no justification for duplicates.

In that same vein, so long as this group has been kickstarted back into completing this manga, I see no reason and have little desire for us to continue working on it. As much as I'm a fan of the artist and the initial premise, at the end of the day it's a pretty average manga.

So I complained about this somewhere else and the reason they use simping is to translate oshikatsu... "The act of enthusiastically supporting someone that you have a sense of devotion towards."

That's not what simping means, simping is a negative thing where someone does favors for someone or gives someone stuff without receiving anything in return, usually because of a one sided affection... So I would say that's a mistranslation really.
