It has taken us 2 months because we were having problems due to the lack of a jap-eng translator which we managed to solve, we don't want to just skip chapters, we would like to work on everything so probably in these days we will be able to catch up quickly. In other words, there won't be such a long wait for the chapters. This weekend I was going to upload 9 and 9.5 in case I can finish them by Saturday. Was it really necessary to come back after two months of abandoning this manga and make dupes of the exact same chapters we just uploaded? If you still want to work on it then why not do the incompleted chapters, it's better for everyone else.
So wait, the series is abandoned for a full two years, and you're nowhere to be found. Now that it starts back up, the title's changed, and progress resumes, you sweep in, put out whatever mediocre chapter you can put together, and complain that the people that had been working it... kept working it?Was it really necessary to come back after two months of abandoning this manga and make dupes of the exact same chapters we just uploaded? You seem to be misunderstanding, the manga had gone without a chapter for two months from the previous group despite the fact that they were working on several other manga more much recently. Since that seemingly indicated that their group lost interest and we wanted to see the manga continued, we (Oriko-scans) continued from where they'd left off, publishing chapter 7,8,9, and 9.5. We also changed the title fyi. As soon as we did this, the other group decided they were interested again and started uploading the same chapters that we just did.So wait, the series is abandoned for a full two years, and you're nowhere to be found. No, I'm pretty clear on the timeline. The manga goes a full two years without an update, clearly having been abandoned, with you nowhere to be found. Then when they come back, publish a chapter, change the title, etc, you swoop in in a record two months, change the title again, put out whatever this all was, then complained when they kept working on the manga that was picked up again. You seem to be misunderstanding, the manga had gone without a chapter for two months from the previous group despite the fact that they were working on several other manga more much recently. Not trying to be possessive as much as I'm just not a fan of duplicate uploads of similar quality chapters on Mangadex. Despite your "mediocre" claims, I believe our uploads are pretty much comparable in quality, so there's no justification for duplicates. No, I'm pretty clear on the timeline. It's weird to see you get possessive over something like this.
No way did they actually translate something as simping, are they a character from brainrot girlfriend?Jesus I saw the other group's TL and I much prefer this one cause this team doesn't use stupid words like "simping."
So I complained about this somewhere else and the reason they use simping is to translate oshikatsu... "The act of enthusiastically supporting someone that you have a sense of devotion towards."No way did they actually translate something as simping, are they a character from brainrot girlfriend?
That's not what simping means, simping is a negative thing where someone does favors for someone or gives someone stuff without receiving anything in return, usually because of a one sided affection... So I would say that's a mistranslation really. So I complained about this somewhere else and the reason they use simping is to translate oshikatsu...
