I'm sorry, but I can't stand when a plot is driven by stupidity. Yes, she can marry Sir Heiden. No, it wouldn't be a bitch move. All she has to do is explain her plan to them that it'd be a marriage in name and only for a year. After that, she can divorce him, and Sir Heiden and Seira can marry after that. It's an extremely simple solution to their problem. Afterwards, as she said, she could easily go on to find herself a partner she actually likes. So what if divorce isn't well taken in Sofen? Sir Heiden and Seira's livelihoods are on the line. Yeah, someone else could get their lands, but there's no guarantee that these two will keep their positions/jobs. I'm pretty sure that takes priority over old fashion conventions.

I don't think its stupid. It actually shows just how much she cares for them by NOT doing that. Yes, because divorce is frowned upon in Sofren, and that would ruin ALL of their reputations. It's actually NOT that simple. She has no problem divorcing and ruining her OWN reputation in order to save her status (and everyone's jobs). And the person who signs the contract would also have no problem divorcing. But even if Heiden and Seira have no problem with it, I'm sure MC wouldn't want to do that to them, especially since they aren't nobles. Its hard enough that Seira is a maid and can easily be stepped on. So MC's "stupid" plan also plays into protecting their positions and livelihoods. That is why she was trying to talk herself out marrying Heiden. I'm sure if push comes to shove, she'd save that for a LAST resort. She's not that desperate yet. I don't see anything wrong with trying other plans.

Looool, yeah. Mr. Super Intelligence Agency can get all of her measurements and her menstrual cycle, but couldn't get it correct that SHE ran away from the cousin??
So is there something we don't know. Was the cousin ALSO opposed to the marriage? Maybe from her POV she was the one with the strong refusal, but cousin prob also hated the thought of marrying her.

Just saying but likely she would not have a choice and it was the cousin who cancelled the marriage when he realized she was not as he expected, so the information is correct even if not from our perspective.

Then she disobeys him and insults his living quarters. Maybe everyone in this world is weird and that's why this guy thinks she's cute. I think realistically he'd be annoyed.

@RubyG8396 Yeah, I totally agree. I think any other person would be annoyed in his position, but for some reason he seems to find it cute. He also says she doesn't behave "like other noblewomen" but all she did so far is complain. I'm pretty sure it's very similar to how any other arrogant noblewoman would behave in that situation lmao.
