@Stormdragon yes but he isn't particularly interested in animals himself. more like the grossly simplified cartoon character merch. Oji-san would panic and feel bad lying about liking animals.
I guess the best example would be a J-idol versus a Vtuber. There is just a different charm and people of those communities have different topics to talk about. not all topics come across

Reminder that cat has claws. They're kinda hurt if I'm not mistaken. Then again, I only had them pulling my clothes back then so who knows, maybe they're not that hurt when just pulling skin.
