@Lucrecia - that's how I read it as well, but it took a second. Poor Cesar, she sees you, at best, as a young brother like Noah
@Mingxingxing - Apparently? But it's probably because Cesar never made any signals otherwise, so she's assumed he has no feelings toward her, just like in the book. That particular fatalism is going make it hard for her to come up with alternatives
@Psychronia - She's determined she can change the plot for herself, but I suppose she doesn't believe in the butterfly effect. Also, I would have expected the Empress to prevent her from interacting with Noah, in case Canaria's use as a tool gets exposed or there is any measure of blowback (or if she forms her own alliance with him - that's been know to happen).
