It's like I'm reading Douluo Dalu all over again where it's basically like the competition between the main characters over who can give their life for the other faster, and the female MC seems to win every time leaving the male MC to unwillingly abstain till he brings her back. lol
Truly a torture for the other party.
Yea, or like that one part in avengers where Black Widow and Hawkeye fought over who could kill themselves to get the soul(?) stone.

Re the scratch while horseback riding: it’s not a deathly injury or anything, but I have been scratched by branches will horseback riding and it can go pretty deep and it’s painful. I wouldn’t say it’s “dangerous” per se, but it’s something I would try to avoid and I definitely wouldn’t want to get while out somewhere where I can’t clean it.
