I never understood the point of announcing that you're dropping the series. Who are you beating your chest to, surely not the publisher or author whose work you are not paying to read?

People should drop the ego as they "drop" a series. No one will miss your leeching contribution when you have nothing constructive to say.

@Keimichi
can you point me out examples of otome isekai in which the original heroine is bad and still herself?
'cause all the bad heroines I can think about are actually isekaied people too and that's why they act bad since they take their happines for granted since to the it's a fixed story. Granted, I can only think about two "real" original MC in the otome isekai I've read.

So the first time we have to see Grace being competent it is stolen from her by Canaria fixing everything?

Yeah.... still don't like Grace and the story is not helping with it.

Well from memory, without looking into it, we have "The Reason Why Raeliana Ended up at the Duke's Mansion". I'm almost sure there are multiple others that I'm just not remembering the name right now, like the one where the MC locks herself in a prison.

Will be interesting to see how the writer handles the classic "You lost the competition by doing the right thing. Therefore, you win by secret rules." a.k.a., the Wonka—Charlie Effect (see film, not book). Otherwise, we'd see the father as sociopathic and cruel, out of touch with the needs of the people, or quite possibly "rules with an iron pocketbook". We'll have to see how the story unfolds. :3
