Why would the political marriage be back on the king said he not against the pursuit of true love just that the prince went about it wrong (breaking off the engagement before pursuing that love) due to the scandal this wrong order caused had consequences, the other woman disappeared most assumed out of embarrassment while the prince left the school for a Royal reeducation, it would cause another scandal if they tried to reset uo a political marriageHis engagement to the lead wasn't romantic, though, it was political; he already wasn't going to inherit the throne (he's the second prince, it's even a point brought up within the story itself when Juliet and Adelaide are chatting), so why wouldn't the political marriage be back on?
