side note, I wish we could get a real villainess. someone shady who does stuff like the 'heroine' this chapter and still wins. I know it's not in the spirit of the villainess trope but it's what I always hope for.

People are hung up on how she "lost another friend" like this sort of thing happens all the time.

I'm more hung up on how he said "you should thank me this time." Which seems to imply the "other" times her friends weren't bad. Maybe they smooched off her but didn't vilify or try to roofie her. Or maybe he's just very yandere and hates other people hanging out with her.

I would have liked it a bit better if the "bad lady" wasn't actually helping with the plan till she saw that the MC was the ice prince's fiancee.

this is a good example of a 100% anthology oneshot, it didn't need to be a full adaptation, and we got all the main points of the story with some good art and the last look of the "villainess" to her "friend", it was really well done.

personally i would have made it so that the love potion made the antagonists fall in love with each other~

Was that not what Wilkin or whatever his name tried to imply there? That he did force her to drink it and then jailed them together so the potion did its thing?
