I feel that this is the epitome of everything wrong with this genre (if you want to call it that) what constitutes a “villainess” has become so diluted that it just means someone others dislike and gets rejected. No one acts like a really person and are terrible for reasons that don’t make sense and just read as classist. The male leads are trash and over powered. And the art is mediocre with a plot both extremely derivative and extremely convoluted.

Like I’m not saying that all of the older villainess manwhas and mangas were better but when was the last time you read one where the main character was actually a villainess.

I got the impression that the author was writing it and submitted the first part as one story. And then the editor said, "Where's the ML?" The author went back and just crammed in most over the top ML the author could think of instead of changing the first half.

And the art felt like a shoujo-cringe manga from the 90's maybe early 2000ish (from the lower quality section), but without all the originality or without everything which made those readable. This chapter sucked in every possible way. It could've be a nostalgic feel-good chapter with this art, but noooo, it had to go down the wrong pipe.

my god, that was hilariously bad! and oh so cringy.... took me way longer to read that it should have with how painful some parts were. Great effort translating though, must have been difficult to endour

Thank you for all of your work! I appreciate how much time you put into this, even when there is a chapter that is a bit... for lack of a better word, off.

Just a bit too complicated of a plot for such a short story. Honestly, if he had actually been her brother and found out she got engaged without her family being notified that would have been kinda fun! Explode in rage, calls out some bs, declares they are defecting to another nation or something something monetary reparations. Then her sassing everyone gives her the excuse to return home (these characters don't need to have romance endings).
Also could have been fun if she legit put on the naive cutesy act all the time to get out of stuff (a little villainness backstory or something).

I liked the first part, where she utterly trolled the hell out off the prince and his hoe.
The ML was both unnecessary to resolve and kinda fudged it up by not letting her do her thing

Agreed. First part felt like the intro to an actualLy good story/series where mc trolls the prince so hard that she gives the dude a complex and makes him constantly paranoid that his new fiancé is trying to control him.

i also loved the timid girl spitting fire like That. I wanna see where that story goes. Heck, it was even salvageable if one of the foreign nobles decided to propose in that moment. But instead she was borderline threatened to marry a dude who she thinks of as her brother wtf?
