Short and touching story. But I'm wondering : why leave a message for her third birthday exactly ? is there any meaning behind this exact age ? Why not leave one for her wedding or her graduation for example ? Why only 3 tapes ? Besides asking her kid to forget her while leaving recorded memories behind is ankward, she clearly doesn't want to be forgotten despite what she said.
