I suppose there's no way to remove the limit for old members? Or perhaps account hijacking or sheer trolling was a part of the problem making it necessary? Still, if the code allows any modication at all, maybe allow for example three posts before the time limitation kicks in?
Why I'm asking this is because of the one page manga series (typically 4koma). For example the "Naughty Succubus Saki-chan" often gets a bunch of releases at once (bless the translator!). It takes less time to read a page and post a comment than the between posts time limit is. Thus, you have to wait for a while before you can comment on the next page. This is obviously not a problem with the regular manga with full chapters, but there are enough 4koma around to make it matter. OFten when a person starts to read such a series, there could be 50 or 100 pages already released, so if the reader wanted to leave comments behind, it would be a game of waiting.
