Consume the media of that language and learn to talk like the people you listen to. This is the advice that all ESL teachers will tell their students, and it applies to all languages. Use what you learn or forget. Learning is one thing, but practicing is another. If you can converse with native speakers of that language, or people who can speak like native speakers, then that will help. Otherwise, do your best to remember what you've studied.

You don't necessarily learn Japanese by watching anime. You are improving your listening comprehension. You don't need to speak like Quagmire if you watch Family Guy, but you must understand what they are saying in English. Wanna learn Korean? Try to understand the K-pop songs you listen to.

Those smartass who call you names? Bet they can't even speak their only language properly. Ignore their noise.

"I am not afraid of a person who knows 10000 kicks. But I am afraid of a person who knows one kick but practices it for 10000 times"

Okay so the first step is don't.

You don't ever learn two languages at one time. One of the vital parts of learning languages is being consistent with daily practice of the said language + like the other guy said, consuming media in that language which helps you get familiar with that language easily. Each day you only get so much time that you can probably only spend it in one language. If you shuffle it like "I am going to do my Japanese lesson today and do my Korean lesson tomorrow" then you're not going to learn either. Languages like Japanese are already hard enough and if you add another one on top of that then it's only going to get harder.

There is no optimal way to learn them. You're only sabotaging yourself and making sure it's taking you much longer to learn both languages at the same time.
