If you think about it, it's pretty funny how a vending machine can have an alarm for shaking or tampering with it, but a vending machine will never have an alarm for the eventuality it eats your money without giving the product in return. I wonder why, huh?

Wait Haruue is referenced?! In the manga?! Doesn't this pretty much outright confirm the canonicity of the anime only arcs Poltergeist? It kind of makes sense since it's created to create resolution for Kiyama after all. Honestly it's kind of why I take anime canon over manga majority of the time since it seems that manga is there for the blueprint for the anime to fill in the gaps in between and it all still fits. I think the only one that has a little... divergence would be with Misaka fighting this female thug in the anime instead of Touma stopping Misaka from getting info from the thugs which I'm confused why the anime didn't follow that instead (since it would match to the LN's introduction) but other than that, I think it should be fine and not really much problems if the anime was treated as the canon source.
