How the hell is he going to give her that advice (which was almost a scolding),watch all this unfold, and just standby without even contacting her?! Seriously, way to make the mc look like an idiot that doesn't know the consequences of his own actions, or a shitty person that will dish out hard advice but will also leave that person to fend for themselves when they take that advice😮‍💨. This subplot feels like an afterthought, or a rush job; either way, it feels like they didn't think things through when they put it together. Like her, for example. She's a huge star...can she not afford a lawyer?! Bcuz that's who would've normally shown up at the press conference with you, to ensure you don't get backlash from planted media (like what happened). I don't see a single famous person EVER handling things this way😅. This was (and still is) dumb. It's far too forced to be entertaining. Hopefully it's over in just a cpl chapters and we can get back to the MC's story.
