Yeah, that's pretty much a basic mistake of every single one of these hijacked secondary role. I'm gonna guess our MC will have pikachu face when the heroine turns out to be a "bit" yandere-ish? Oh well, quite generic but you don't see this sort of story in manhua form that often even though there are lot of novel about it.

That's true. I can think of a lot of novels but only a couple manhua (at least for GL).

you do not bloody know what generic is LMAO
System-based reincarnation into a fictional world where one protagonist knows the plot and the other does not is probably the single most common trope in all of Chinese manhua. Objectives to follow, gacha rewards, and penalties for straying from the plot - these are all areas extremely well-tread in Chinese fiction. I can name at least 6 similar Chinese GL stories off the top of my head.
That said, the twist introduced in Chapter 2 is genuinely novel and really elevates this story beyond many of the others of its trope.
