Manga is kind of bad now since there's no real goal, and Fushi lacks so much common sense it hurts.

The knockers might have assimilated into living things in order to survive. Some humans might have had a knocker inside them without knowing.

@arzenite Now that you mention it, I doubt Fushi even knows what a "best friend" is. Honestly his forced naivety makes his relationships with all the other immortals really superficial, because he goes on saying he cares for them but we certainly don't see it.

He also doesn't seem to understand that one of Hayase's descendants killed Tonari like right in front of him, yet gets bitchy at Tonari for holding a very reasonable grudge??? She is not the one in the wrong here, the girl literally murdered her own mom in a hissy fit LOL At least we know nobody really tells anyone anything when It comes to Fushi's circle of friends. It helps in giving the feeling that they are absolute strangers that barely know one another instead of comrades in arms or whatever.

Imagine if Bon told Tonari or any of the other guys about Mizuha killing her mom lmao.

@ksnh Yes.

Tonari bringing the heat. She's actually in the right too.

IIRC it was implied that Hayase is being reborn over and over again into her own bloodline. So it doesn't really make any sense for Fushi to trust Mizuha at all lol. He's been dealing with her family's bullshit ever since he was just a dog.

Contrary to popular opinion, I think some the manga getting slower with some SoL moments is a good thing. It just seems bad because the releases are more spaced out than usual.

The genius with this arc is on the outside everything seems peaceful and the manga even gives time to normal SoL moments, but the reader KNOWS there is something very very unsettling under the peace. Once this arc ends and can be read in one sitting it would probably be more enjoyable.

If you read the comments people aren’t annoyed with the SoL moments but how aimless and pointless it feels as well as them being annoyed with how naive Fushi is. He has lived for millennia yet his actual personal growth/mental growth seems to have barely changed.

large time skip. clues dropped throughout the story
the way he was talking the last time we saw him, and the fact he hasn't shown up again. he's probably gone for good
