Is this some spinoff or smth? The chapters are so short and have so little in them that I am confused. 7 chapters and I have no clue what is going on other than a very very simple understanding of how the 4 people view each other. And that too is mainly from a graph they put in.

Yess, this is a series based on the lore of the Music Videos of Eve songs (a Japanese song writer, the same one that sung the first opening of Jujutsu Kaisen). The mangaka of this series is also the character designer for the music videos these characters appear in!
These mv's are (in story chronological order): Inochi no Tabekata, Insomnia, Fight Song and Sayonara Endroll.
