Everyone goes through the system, so the general rules of it would be well known -- i.e. anything that affected the odds would be well known. Thus if being devout, praying sincerely, paying tithes, good work, parentage had an effect would be known and exploited or at least planned for. Here, there is no indication of that. Yes they pray, but there's not indication that "their prayers failed to work as expected".

Because RitharScans has decided to keep the MangaDex Chapters Uploads behind on purpose to drive people to their site which has up to Chapter 9 of 14 as it hasnt been updated by them in 4 weeks. Their site while it looks decent, is missing all the quality of life features and experience that MangaDex has which makes it feel horrible to use. For some god awful reason its set up as a giant scrollable page for each chapter like a Manwha too, which is a very poor way to read it.

Like im still new-ish to MangaDex but damn, theres a reason everyone uses it and not the random translator sites most of the time.

That sounds horrible. I'm not a fan of reading Manwhas to begin with, because of the risk of carpal tunnel (As it is usually an endless scroll down with a lot of dead space between panels and text boxes). So butting manga pages together like that just sounds evil. As the first, and most simple issues, is that if you don't know when a page ends and begins, you might wind up skipping a text box or two by reading into the next page by mistake. And the most pressing issue, is that putting something together in a long vertical strip, when their supposed to be single pages, is just hideous and wrong on so many levels. If it was just the novel, I could forgive it, but not for mangas.

Yeah, it'a generic, but so is most stuff, especially isekai or power fantasies. If you don't like it, don't read. That's what I do.

"Herbivore male" is the name for a very standard character type in JP manga, etc. The term originates from the Japanese themselves. It just means a man with very little interest in sex, typically one chased around by sexually aggressive women.

And it's not just a manga thing, it's cultural as well, and affects the birth rate, with larger percentages of JP men showing less interest in sex (at least IRL).

Also, commenting on things that one doesn't like or finds ridiculous is a natural part of human discourse.
