Edging implies something actually being done. This is a man who's down hard for a girl who just doesn't have any sense of distance. Props to him for not being a piece of shit an assaulting her, but some acknowledgement that there could be feelings there or even a Tokimori PoV chapter would do wonders for this Manga.

As of right now, we know MC loves her, and that she doesn't have any sense of distance with him. That's literally the extent of their relationship. Her feelings could be mutual, or she could see him as a nice friend/roommate, or she could see him as something like a caregiver, or she could be down hard for him and trying to get him to jump her as another comment put it.

The problem is we have no idea what Tokimori thinks because her entire character is "serious at work, sleepy at home, whoops I showed you my panties because I consider your presence as air in the apartment and not as another human being."

Edit: maybe that's why Akatsuki's 150 chapters didn't bother me as much as 50 chapters of this shit. We actually got to see both characters povs and thoughts in Akatsuki. We only see his pov and nothing else in this one.
