Thing is, it wouldn't be THAT annoying if it was played off quickly.
Here MC literally goes "yeah, let's let the super beautiful but incredibly naive and rather weak woman go all alone, in a bikini, at the beach!" as if he doesn't know her at all. This chapter is backwards progress and an insult to any development until now

Then again, almost no beach trope will get close to "Mankitsu Shitai Jouren-san" where they were actually physically sexually assaulted and it was played off in a comedic way and nothing happened.
