I‘m confused by some of the reactions as this seemed like some sort of acknowledgement from a few chapters ago that our girl is truly into him. It was nice to see her drop to the floor and blush happily because he touched her head like that. She is starting to embrace her feelings for him, she just doesn’t have the courage yet to tell him…which given her past is understandable.

It really isn’t MC’s fault that she really doesn’t open up about what she is thinking. They are close, but I’ve had girl friends I’m close with do stuff like that without romantic interests so like…it is possible.

You're right, this is actually progress. Which is why I'm frustrated its from his perspective, because we already know his side of things. I wanna see hers more.
