Honestly, for me personally. This fell off. I'm bout to drop. I still can't stand the way her head is drawn now. It's so round it's less like a woman and funny slice of life romance and more like a caricature.

She could be the same flirty tease with Sugawa we saw in early chapters liking him but unsure how to get him to confess to her and still be defenseless.

These chapters feel like filler while the story finds a way to figure out this new dynamic. It's hard, I def couldn't do it, hence why I'm here commenting like my opinion holds water

It's usually how it goes. Authors are okay writing the "will they or won't they" stage, but as far as actual dating goes they shit the bed. Lack of personal experience I'm sure.

The head shape really bothers me for some reason. Maybe cause they use in loli art style sometimes with "adults" but they are drawn as children, idk. Like this is a romance between two adults. Also, after I clocked the art style change I went back and re-read from the beginning and Tokimori was never really defenseless. From the start she was interested in Sugawa and was being flirty with him. Asking him to undress her, then kissing his cheek then asking if he likes anyone cause dude didn't make a move.

Honestly it's more like, Tokimori was emotionally abused and can't conceive of a guy liking her for her so she leaves her body available for the taking but guy only wants her heart and she has the reconcile that for them to date
