I have to say, it's been quite a week when it comes to small mangakas ruining their work by attempting drama.

I think the first sentence of the chapter sums it up perfectly:

Why indeed Tazawa-san, why indeed. It almost seems like a sliver of self-awareness.

It just goes to show how little these authors seem to know about what it means to be an abuser or a victim of abuse.

I hope we can just move past the "drama" plotline because it added nothing to the story, but with what looks like a good old "MC has a cold" chapter coming up, maybe we really are moving in the right direction.

It was also really weird how MC suddenly turned really dense again at the end there, like the mangaka just somehow needed him to suddenly turn back into the "dense romcom MC" even though that's not at all how he has been acting in the last few chapters.

Seeing Tokimori lying down, waiting for Sugawa to come home was so sweet. I think it's clear that she sees him as someone she can call a lover, but what does Sugawa think?

Haruto was pretty bad this chapter. He was literally just there to show how kind Sugawa is. But I guess that's good, it shows the big difference between the two of them. Sugawa respects women, Haruto doesn't.
