People saying the bf is abusive are crazy. From his point of view his girlfriend slowly becomes a lot colder. It's understandable for the the guy to become a bit desperate due to his girlfriend's lack of affection. This doesn't really excuse him forcing the kiss but Misono is largely to blame for lying to his boyfriend about her real feelings.

He was asking her for obvious reasons, if she really liked him which she avoided, while cheating on him and playing with the feelings of someone else, he overstepped, but she's trash nonetheless

Her not leaving and staying with her would honestly devalue her, if the story was any decent they'd actually start growing apart and mc finds someone who genuinely cares, while the other girl regrets it seeing how she faulted mc
