Not the Touko trope again.
While Asuna is being pure loving girl and wants to have normal relationship, Natsuki be going that «I need to keep appearances. I don't want to destroy my school life» road. And what's even more frustrating about that is... She is making Asuna take the blame and understand that she is in the wrong and that believe in "special" relationship bs.
That is my opinion, but I also really hated Touko in the part that was adapted in the anime and now I'm frustrated at Natsuki.
Their situations are different on paper, but emotions are similar. Natsuki too follows some kinda ideals, that she has to have a normal school life, etc. But it's like she's tying up Asuna, girl can readily go open and stand beside her to the end, but Natsuki is afraid. Also that whole "charging" stuff, while being unable to fully accept your partner and going only by your rules, reminds me of YagaKimi.
It had a bit of a pause in TL, so I wouldn't remember much details, but it's not easily comes to mind, why Natsuki's like that.
The worst part is that Asuna is so naive, because she truly loves Natsuki. And now she thinks that she understands and that she was in the wrong and that her girlfriend had a point.
Lets just hope that there would be an arc where this gets resolved and author wouldn't think that this ending is satisfying.
Also, the chapter has title's name, so I really hope that it's not saying that this «kinda unhealthy» relationship is whole point of this manga. If they were both into this kind of special thing, it would've been fine, but Natsuki is pushing pure Asuna that way, so its not very healthy.
