Kinda late to the party, but I think the common interpretation of "Asuna wants to come out and Natsuki wants to remain hidden" is a bit off.
I think Asuna wants to stay closeted just as much, if not even more than Natsuki. Look at how much she panics when the topic comes up with her two gyaru friends. Or how Kyouko and Hayama had to practically wring it out of her. And most importantly, even when Asuna was upset about Natsuki denying they were in a relationship to her classmate, Asuna admits multiple times that she would've answered in the exact same way in that scenario.
Meanwhile, Natsuki straight up says to Kyouko, "I'mma make Asuna scream in bed" lmao. Natsuki is the one who's actually put thought into their future and relationship, and was the one to bring up the topic of eventually coming out to their friends and parents and sounds like she fully intended to when it made sense to do so.
The problem isn't that Asuna wants to come out and Natsuki is stopping her from doing that. The problem is that Asuna is insecure in the relationship and wants the security that having a public facing relationship and having your partner known to be taken ostensibly brings.
This is why she intentionally tried to create rumours about Natsuki having a boyfriend and was happy when it succeeded. This is why she was so excited to be able to anonymously claim to be dating Natsuki to the cram school students and other people in public. It gave their relationship a sense of authenticity that Asuna wasn't able to conjure from within. And this is why it bothers her so much to hear that people are confessing to Natsuki, even if she's turning them down.
Asuna never once has expressed to Natsuki any desire to come out, and I can only imagine based on how Natsuki has treated their relationship so far that if Asuna properly communicated that coming out would mean a lot to her, that Natsuki would be at least willing to consider it, or explore that further with Asuna.
But I think the truth is that Asuna doesn't really want to come out. She's too insecure to come out, but also too insecure to deal with the consequences of keeping their relationship hidden. In a way, it kind of mirrors what Natsuki was going through in the beginning of the story, with the 'normalcy' that a het relationship in a heteronormative society offers being desirable, but incompatible with their true desires. Which is really tragic, and kind of hard to blame either girl when you step back and look at the root of their problems.
